Photo collection
In the past 75 years, Institute Kern has assembled a collection of approximately 70,000 historical and modern photographs, related to South and Southeast Asian art and archeology. The institute has also collected cityscapes and photos of antropological nature.

Besides this collection of photographs, the institutes also holds a large collection of glass-, nitrate-, acetate- and polyester negatives, as well as 100,000 black and white and colour slides.
